Pilates is a gentle form of exercise which builds
strength, tones and stretches the body.
It is entirely safe, even
during pregnancy and is recommended for people with back or neck problems
and sports injury. The end product is a perfectly balanced body with
strong, well defined muscles,
good posture and joint mobility.

At the Pilates Practice we specialise in
machine-based Pilates using specially
designed STOTT* equipment, incorporating
springs and pulleys which gently increase
muscle resistance.We hold private
lessons (60 minutes)
on a one-to-one basis, or small general
classes
(75 minutes)
for up to 4 people.
On a one-to-one lesson
the instructor guides you
through a range of exercises until a level is reached where you are able to progress
into a general class. You can then work at your own pace and level.
We recommend 3 private classes before going into a general class.
