Pilates is a form of exercise which builds core strength, tones and stretches the body and increases flexibility. It is entirely safe and is recommended not just for general body conditioning but it is also highly recommended for those with any rehabilitation issues or sports injury and also during and after pregnancy. The end product is a perfectly balanced, strong and toned body with good posture and joint mobility. It is designed for anyone, no matter their level of fitness or age.

The Pilates Practice has been established since 2001 and we specialise in
machine-based Pilates using specially designed STOTT* equipment, incorporating springs and pulleys which gently increase muscle resistance.We hold private lessons (60 minutes) on a one-to-one basis , or small general classes (75 minutes) for up to 4 people.

On a one-to-one lesson the instructor guides you through a range of exercises until a level is reached where you are able to progress into a general class. You can then work at your own pace and level. We recommend 3 private classes before going into a general class.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 9pm; Saturday and Sunday 9.30am - 2pm
