Pilates is a gentle form of exercise which builds strength, tones and stretches the body.  It is entirely safe, even during pregnancy and is recommended for people with back or neck problems and sports injury.  The end product is a perfectly balanced body with strong, well defined muscles, good posture and joint mobility.

The Pilates Practice is conveniently located just 5 minutes from Clapham Junction BR station, and is served by many major bus routes.  It is also easily accessible from north of the river via Battersea or Wandsworth bridges.

  At the Pilates Practice we specialise in machine-based Pilates using specially designed STOTT* Equipment, incorporating springs and pulleys which gently increase muscle resistance.  We hold private lessons on a one-to-one basis, or small general classes for up to 4 people.  On a one-to-one lesson the instructor guides you  through a range of exercises until a level is reached where you are able to progress into a general class.  You can then work at your own pace and level.  For the beginner we recommend several lessons before going into a general class.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 9pm; Saturday and Sunday 9.30am - 2pm
