ABOUT THE PILATES PRACTICE
Your studio
The Pilates Practice is your personal exercise studio!
We hold an initial one-to-one session for everyone (60 minutes) and then general sessions (75 minutes) where there are never
more than four people in the studio under the supervision of a fully
qualified instructor. Please note we are unable to offer ongoing private classes at peak studio times.
The studio has been designed with a calm, intimate atmosphere in mind. It is
a million miles away from a large crowded intense gym.
Here you can focus on your personal exercise regime in your own time. And,
whilst we encourage you to go as regularly as you can, you go when you want
(appointments permitting) and only pay for the times you go.
Lessons
We hold private lessons on a one-to-one basis after which
you start general classes. On a one-to-one session the instructor guides you
through a range of exercises until a level is reached where you are able to
progress to a general class where you can work at your own pace and level
(but under continuing supervision).
We also offer Structural Integration treatments with Mike Doxey. These are
deep tissue corrective treatments which are ideal for anyone with chronic or
temporary joint or muscle pain or stiffness. For more info about Mike and
